Fiction novels in English by Indian authors are vying for readers eyeballs. India has a large number of young literates and many are taking to reading popular books by reading book recommendations and finding what their peers are reading.

Indian stories are relatable to the young adult readers because of the same cultural ethos represented in the stories.
